The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license is an international license-based program that makes the candidate eligible to perform the task in private and Government aviation overseas. This profile taught the student practical and conceptual knowledge about the maintenance, repair, test, and fixing of the difficulties in the aircraft. Process to get the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course duration is 2-year academic program and 2-year of practical training in the flying environment in the DGCA approved organizations. This course is pursued in the DGCA approved institutes. After qualifying for the internal examination in the institute, modules, and completing practical training, students can apply for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license in the DGCA.

Type of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License Categories

The few Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license as per the DGCA, Govt. of India that students can apply to build their mesmerizing career in the aviation sector. Through this license student is eligible to work in the airlines, MRO organizations, Aircraft Manufacturing Organizations, Aircraft Part Manufacturing Organizations, Aviation Training Centres, Civil Defence Forces, etc. The few licenses of AME are as follows:

B1:- B1 license is the mechanical stream that certifies with engines, wings, fuselage, and other components.

The B1 is subcategorized into the following parts:-

o   Category B1.1:- B1.1 license holder certifies the jet engine aeroplanes.

o   Category B1.2:- B1.2 license holder certifies the piston engine aeroplanes.

o   Category B1.3:- B1.3 license holder certifies the jet engine helicopters.

o   Category B1.4:- B1.4 license holder certifies the piston engine helicopters.

Category B2:- B2 license holder is widely known as avionics stream which is related to electrical components in the aircraft which are categories in the following part:-

o       Electrical System

o       Instrumental System

o       Radio Navigation and Communication
