Aircraft becomes one of the safest and less time taken means of transport so many students who love to build their career with aircraft are these days fascinated with the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. To know the depth of the course, students look for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering syllabus in India. AME is basically an international license-based program approved by the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India through which student can build their successful career in the private and govt. aviation sector worldwide. The work profile of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is related to the maintenance, repair, test, and solve the difficulties of the aircraft and its components.
The big responsibility of safety and security is in the hands of the skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer as no aircraft can take off without airworthy certification of the aircraft. These engineers have a marvelous demand worldwide in the airlines, MRO organizations, Aircraft manufacturing Companies, Aviation Training Centres, Civil Defence Forces, Flying Clubs, etc.
Look at the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Syllabus of AME CEE?
Before looking at the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) syllabus of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Examination (AME CEE) students must know the dates when the registration form is released. AME CEE registration forms are released in the month of November on the official website www.amecee.in. AME CEE is the national level common entrance exam for admission in one of the top Aircraft Maintenance engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering colleges/institutes with up to 100% scholarship. As we know, the student appearing or passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 3 years engineering diploma students are eligible so at the time of filling student must fill their qualification because based on that the examination syllabus will depend.
There are total of 75 Multiple Choice Questions for both the syllabus in Hindi and English mode. For the candidate who has to be appearing or passed 12th, the syllabus will be 25 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each. For the candidate who is engineering diploma or engineering students, the syllabus will be 25 questions from General Awareness, English, and Aptitude Test each. The examination will be conducted in India in an online mode.
Have a Look at the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Syllabus to Get AME license?
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering syllabus that is followed by the institutes is designed and structured by the DGCA, Govt. of India. Module 1 and Module 2 are not applicable in India so the student doesn’t have to give these two modules. Students have to attend the examination based on the stream they have selected at the time of admission/ admission counselling in the institute. If students have selected any branch from the mechanical stream, then they have to attend 11 modules and for the avionics stream 10 modules are applicable. To get the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, it is important to clear all the modules as per the syllabus. The modules are as follows:
Module 1 – Mathematics
Module 2- Physics
Module 3 – Electrical Fundamentals
Module 4- Electronic Fundamentals
Module 5- Digital Techniques Electronic Instrument System
Module 6- Materials and Hardware
Module 7- Maintenance Practices
Module 8-Basic Aerodynamics
Module 9- Human Factors
Module 10- Aviation Legislation
Module 11A- Turbine Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems
Module 11B-Piston Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems
Module 12- Helicopter Aerodynamics, Structures and System
Module 13-Aircraft Aerodynamics , Structures and System
Module 14- Propulsion
Module 15- Gas Turbine Engine
Module 16- Piston Engine
Module 17-Propeller
Is it Hard to Clear Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Syllabus?
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) syllabus comprises10 or 11 modules in India depending on the stream of the candidate. To clear the modules, the DGCA approved institutes offers proper academic classes in the modern classroom and practical sessions in the well-equipped labs. A well-trained, educated, and experienced instructor will train the student so they can serve the aviation sector.
The student having proper dedication, focus, and consistency towards the AME syllabus taught to them will never fail to achieve their goals in the aviation sector. It is a job with responsibility so students have to put all their efforts and hard work to be part of the growing aviation sector.
